Since it has been over 2 months since my last post, here is what has been going on with us:
Hunter is still the shipping manager for his company which has been holding steady despite the state of the economy.
I have been doing a lot of driving the past 2 months. A pharmacist that worked at our North Augusta store quit, and I got to temporarily take her place. I love the store and the people, but being gone 5-7 days in a row was hard. I (and Hunter) are very happy they have found a replacement! Not ever being home was hard. And days I was home was filled with catching up on all that needed to be done around the house. (Hints why the blog hasn't been updated!)
Math equation for you:
Increase in sunny days=Increase baths for dirty dogs
In March, Jessica and Jason came up to visit and go to St. Pat's in Five Points. Hunter and I had never been and it rained most of the day, but we still had fun. Here we are watching We The Kings. They sing "Check Yes Juliet" and "Secret Valentine."

Our First Anniversary was wonderful. It's so hard to believe that a year has already come and gone. We are still enjoying "married life" and all that comes with it. We have learned new things about each other which surprised us both. When you date 7 years before you get married, I'd say we pretty much thought we knew everything.
I was in a wedding the Saturday of our anniversary and it was like "wedding deja vu." Same church, same reception hall, different bride and groom. Not too many people can say they had their second "first dance" in the same building they had their first. After the wedding we stayed at the Partridge Inn (just as we did last year after our wedding). This year, instead of sitting on the hotel floor eating reception food out of zip-lock bags, Hunter took me to the Pinnacle Club. It's very fancy and they have the BEST she crab soup and crab cakes I've ever had (and believe me, I've tried them just about everywhere).
We got the top layer of our wedding cake from Mom. It was pretty good, but not as moist as that first bite a year ago. It still looked good. Hunter's mom also had the part of the groom's cake saved for us to eat. I made Hunter a Snapfish book of pictures from our first year together. He gave me a watch and I LOVE it.
Mom's flowers made a great backdrop for our Easter photo.
Some of the flowers we planted last September are finally starting to bloom.
So, that gets you caught up for now....hopefully I won't be such a slacker and wait 2 months before I post again.
