Save trees...

...don't go to pharmacy school.
I decided to get a head start on the spring cleaning and go through all my papers from school.
This was just one of 4 piles I had. Everytime I thought I was done, I would find more notebooks stuffed somewhere. It is now consolidated to one notebook!
I literally felt nauseous and had a headache when I was done. Looking back at all the tests that I studied so hard for (and some that it didn't matter how hard I studied!), I realized I was throwing away 6 years of sweat and tears. But I also realized what an accomplishment it is to have conquered the hardest thing I have ever tried to do!

Ski Trip

We went to Snowshoe, WV for our trip with Terri's family.
This is what we looked like the whole time.
The first day we skied, the temp was -16 (and that did not include wind chill)!
While we were there for MLK weekend, it showed almost 2 ft!
Here we are with our hats on.
We had a great time and loved spending time with Terri, Billy, Will, and Sydney. Thanks for letting us tag-along for another trip.

My first attempt

If you have ever had Mom's lasagna, then you know it is a masterpiece! It's everyone's favorite dish and has come to be what we request on Christmas Eve. Not a "traditional" meal, but it's our tradition.
I finally decided to give it a try.
After about 3 phone calls to Mom, this is how it turned out!
Hunter said that since Mom's is a 10, mine turned out as a 8.5-9.
Hey, I'll take it. He said I could have added more cheese and thought some fresh spices would be nice, but for my first try....I thought I did pretty good!
Glad it was good, cause we have a lot to eat!

More Birthdays!

At the beginning of the month, Mr. Phil, Mrs. Kim, Hunter, and myself headed to Hilton Head to see Grandpa Bill and Grandma Carole.
We had a great visit and great food!
Mrs. Kim and I had fun at the outlets and we could have shopped all day!
Here is Sir Aurthur perched on top of the TV

We decided to go ahead and celebrate their birthdays while we were there.
(I made the cake)
Thanks for a wonderful time as usual!
We enjoyed getting to see you!

Happy Birthday Haley

Happy 22nd Haley!
Hope with her favorite niece.
We enjoyed a fun night complete with roasting marshmallows and making s'mores.
And the next day, we celebrated again!
Hope you had a great birthday!
