10 days and counting...

The wedding is coming so fast yet I feel like it is an event that will never happen. I feel like I have been planning for so long that we still have months to get everything together! At least I am not freaking out...yet, but I think Mom is a little more than me! She is just better at remembering the 101 things we still have to do.
Hope you are all getting excited!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!!!

So what's the best way to celebrate seminar being over???
Go to Myrtle Beach for my bachelorette party!

April was the ultimate party planner. First, we went and had our makeup done at the MAC counter. Then back to Terri's to get ready. Billy cooked us a great dinner or what he calls a good "base." We waited for the storms to pass and then headed to Broadway at the Beach.
Here is Sydney ready to go out too. She has on the veil Jessica made me with the light-up boa.
Terri was kind enough to host my party along with Haley, Jessica, and Gillian.
April and Amber also joined the fun.
Us out at Broadway at the Beach.
Terri picked up these napkins!
Me and my favorite sister! Thanks for showing us a great time!
On stage at Crocodile Rocks...what a blast we had!
Thanks to all my girls who gave the best party ever!
We'll have to go it again soon...who's next??

Hunter went out in Columbia after St. Pats at 5 Points was closed due to the tornado watch. But Michael, Shane, and Mike showed him a good time as well!

Hallelujah!

Thanks for all the prayers about seminar! I felt them all at about 11:00 Wednesday when I got up to present. I guess I should have asked you all the pray for the computer too. It seemed to have a mind of its own. Besides that it had not messed up for anyone else but me! It started to automatically flip my power-point slides and then would not allow me to go back to them. My evaluator said we would have to shut down the system and start over! I'm sorry, but when you are in the middle of a 20 min speech you are not so thrilled about anyway...starting over is not an option! Luckily, someone in the room had an idea of how to reset it. That worked and I continued on. The GREAT part is that is it over and I got an A. Oh and I also got extra props for keeping my cool under the rather strange interruption!

My last task

Tomorrow will be my final duty as a pharmacy student. I have my senior seminar at 11:30. Pray for me if you get the chance. I always said I would be on anti-anxiety medication for this one, but I'm just going to do it on my own. I am ready for it to be over with and ready to celebrate! I still have to finish out my rotation for the month and then I am officially finished with school! My cap and gown came in the other day and I tried it on just to get the feel of what becoming a doctor is like! Pretty nice, I have to say.
After tomorrow, all I have to do is show up on May 7th at 10:30 dressed and ready to walk across that stage. It seems kind of strange that it has been six long years since high school graduation and that it will definitely be my last graduation!
Wish me luck!

Guess where we are going...

for our Honeymoon???
I found out Saturday that we are going to The Royal Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico! Hunter has kept this a secret since October. He wanted to plan everything and did a great job.
My criteria: sunny beach, warm, preferably out of the country since we got passports last summer, and all-inclusive so we wouldn't have to worry about money.
All of these were fulfilled and I can't wait to go! It looks like they lots of places to eat and relax on the beach.
I'll take a frozen drink with a little umbrella, please!

1 Month To Go

WOW how time has flown. Between rotations, working, and preparing for my senior seminar, this time really gone by fast. We have accomplished a lot in 12 months.
UPDATE: I got my bridal proofs back today and have several to pick from for the final portrait choice. My seminar is next Wednesday, so I have been trying to get my 10 page handout and 20 minute power-point presentation complete. This is the last true task I have as a student. I'm very excited to get it over with, but nervous to give the presentation.
Hunter has been doing a little more traveling lately. He went to Omaha last month for a few days and will be flying to Minneapolis next week. It is likely to take a trip to Salt Lake City again (he went for a week in January) before the wedding. He is heading up a big project with the plant and is needed to get everything rolling out there. Once we get back from the honeymoon, the trips will settle down...I hope. He is going to Minneapolis to receive his Green Belt certification. It's a part of Six Sigma training to reduce cost and increase growth. Basically it's a big deal for him to get this first certification and it looks good to his company and others! He has done a lot of work on this project and definitely deserves it.
