Home and Garden Shower

At the beginning of the month my Aunts hosted a Home and Garden Shower for Hunter and me. It was great to see everyone and we are both glad you could all make the trip. We got lots of great gifts for the yard, bathroom, and kitchen. Hunter has already put a few to good use. He is very excited about all of his new gadgets.

There are lots of pictures since most of the family was able to come. Thanks to everyone for all the hard work and effort to make our first shower GREAT! From planning, organizing, cooking, and decorating, you all did a fabulous job. We both love you all very much and appreciate everything that was done. Thanks to Aunt Marilyn for sending me these pictures (I never even got my camera out of my purse)!

Sydney's Halloween Party

Wednesday afternoon I got to help with Sydney's class party. It was so fun to go and meet all her friends. Her teacher told me that I must be the one getting married. When I asked how she knew, she said that Syd had written about Spring being her favorite season since that's when my wedding is. How cute is that!

Dunes Club Party

Last Tuesday was the annual Dunes Club Halloween party. This was a great family event with tasty food. Most people came in their Halloween best to enjoy the festivities.

Hard Rock Park

Hunter and I took Will to the Backstage Tour of Hard Rock Park. It will be the first of its kind scheduled to open in May of 2008. The amusement park will have areas that represent the different genres of music.

It looks like it will be a fun place to go!

Game Time

Since I was staying with Terri during my rotation last month. I got to ride to the game with the family. And let me tell ya, when Billy Monckton says, "If you're not in the car at 6:00am, you'll be finding another way to the game," he means it. We left promptly at 6 for the12:30 kick-off against Vandy. We had blast, as usual, tailgating at the train car. Hunter's parents came up for Parent's Weekend, and Haley and Mike joined us as well.
This was the "family game" where all of Terri's friends come and bring their kids to the game. Here is Miller Long and Will.
