This month has been pretty busy. My rotations have started for the semester. I have 4 one month rotations. I'm at an independent pharmacy in Aiken. It's interesting to say the least. The best part is that I have gotten to shadow two pediatricians and see pediatric echoes done on several patients. The pharmacy is located adjacent to a pediatric office. It's a great opportunity to see how doctors and pharmacists should get along and influence medication decisions and provide advice to each other. Once a month the cardiac specialists from Columbia come and do EKGs and Echoes on patients with new-found murmurs and existing cardiac patients. We had one little girl who had to have open-heart surgery at 5 months old. She is doing very well now and is developing normally, not to mention she is adorable. I'm enjoying seeing the kids and getting to know the families. It's not a busy pharmacy, so there is time for personal interaction. Next month I'm at Fort Gordon. That should be interesting!
As far as wedding plans go, we have started registering for different things and trying to decide on china and bedspreads. We have put deposits with caterer, florist, and cake lady. We got our engagement pictures back and are pleased with them. When available, I'll send a link to view/purchase online.
I'm also still working at Kroger on Sunday evenings to make a little money and continue to rack up my much needed hours. However, by Thursday it feels like Friday and Saturday never last long enough.
Only one more week until Carolina Football begins...and you know that is HUGE around here! Hunter said our tickets came in the other day and we are set and ready to go. This is my favorite part of the year and my first football season that I won't have to study for an exam the Monday after a game (or study while tail-gating, which believe it or not, I have done on more that one occasion). It's also the first time in 18 or 19 years that I didn't have a "First day of school." I have to admit I'm excited about this fact, but I know I'll be wishing I had summers off all too soon.

On to Myrtle Beach
After we left Auggie's, it was up the coast to Myrtle Beach. We spent the rest of the week with Terri, Billy, Will, Sydney, and Piper. Skeebo enjoyed playing with Piper and we brought her back home with us so she could go to camp for gun training. Here are pictures from the Pavilion Nostalgia Park at Broadway at the Beach.
Trip to Auggie's
Last week we went on our family vacation to the beach. We spent the first few days with Aunt Audrey and then went up the Terri's. Here are a few pictures of Fordham and Pinckney. They are the two cutest little boys ever. I think I could play with them all day.
On Wednesday, we took Fordham to the aquarium. He can definitely give you a tour and tell you where everything is. I think he had fun and we did too.
So, it also looks like we have a future photographer on our hands. Fordham really enjoyed taking pictures. I think I have about 15 of the ceiling of the living room and kitchen. He just needs to work on getting the top of people's heads in the picture and he'll be good to go! Here are just a few of my favorites.
Skeebo goes to the beach
We took Skeebo on his first vacation last week! He is really well for the long car rides and I think we will be able to take him on many more trips.
New additions
Here are a few pictures of what the house looks like with our stuff in it.
Lucy's Room (Master Bedroom): walls blue with my furniture when I was a baby. Miss Kim got us a dresser and mirror set to also go in the master.
Living Room: Painted with Hunter's couch, hutch from Hunter's Aunt Janet and end tables and coffee table from Hunter's parents.
